About P and B Training

P and B Training is a national company covering England, Wales and Scotland. We train staff from Company Directors to Carers (and everyone inbetween!) in mental health awareness and service users' psychiatric conditions as they affect care homes - elderly, learning disability and specialist dementia homes.

We pride ourselves that not only do we leave a lasting positive impression, but also that staff actually learn and enjoy the training - and want more.

Training

I’m sure you’ve seen the directives coming from the Department of Health about training staff in care of the elderly, with regards to dementia and challenging behaviour. We specialise in training staff to grasp mental health problems within care homes (of all types). Home Managers know that many of their biggest issues lie in the difficulties staff have in handling the complex needs of their service users who suffer with mental illness. These talks are directed towards a full range of staffing disciplines and lead to greater enthusiasm and increased understanding of the varied presentations of the service users in your home.
